Anyone else keeping an eye on this?

Roger Gracie is apparently tearing through his division (expected)

Lucas Lepri lost on points :(

Roger Gracie wins Absolutes. Beat everyone he fought by the same choke, fantastic.

A decent few Americans did well in the Brown belt. JT Torres won his division, he's only 19.

    I like Lepri :(

Hopefully in the next few years i get a chance to spend a few months in Brazil and train. I'm a bit scared, though. I've heard of a fair few people being mugged, but i'm guessing if i avoid a favela, i'd be okay?

It is not just in the favelas ... you have to watch out... use common sense - avoid going out late nights, avoid "bad" neighborhoods, etc - I hope you have some local friends there to advise you on what to do, where to go, etc

Yea, it will be in a while, that's for sure. Probably after i finish my education and get some money.

I've heard Curitiba is a lot safer than Rio De Janeiro. Would be fun anywhere, but i want to stay safe and maybe watch a football match.

And, well, i obv want to meet some women.
