The kid was the top player in the sub 17 tournie and scorer and yet no offers for him??? How much does Nacional want for him and why arent any scouts looking at him?

not a huge deal but Chelsea looking at players from this tournie and basically saw one from every country but ours when we had the best player....

is it because of our playing style?

why do you want him out atl nacional?
let hem grow into the WC in nigeria and then we can talk transfers
he has not play a pro game in la mustang yet ( at least not 90 minutes yet)

    chill out!!!

same story when nazarith la rompio en ecuador as sub17.... and look at him now, benched in santa fe adn with few minutes in la premier copa postobon.

exactly our league doesnt know what to do with youth talent.... its use them while they are useful for the sub 20 or sub 17 rule then as soon as they are of age get rid of them....

why not let them go where they can develop correctly and be used right...

Nazarith could have been handled better like alot of our other sub 20/17 players

or do u think Pino would have developed the same and learned how to pass in the Colombian league???

Yes he should defintiely stay in colombia until at least after the sub20 world cup in my opinion. The problem is Nacional has way too many players that play the same function as him, so asides the rule he is not going to play that much i think. But either way its all in best interest to not let everything get to his head, nurture and protect him in Nacional. I dont want him to end up signing to a Euro team that hell never make it in.

Nacional will make bank with this kid, hopefully they arent swayed by the money yet, because if they handle him right hes gonna be huge. The only other good option is Nacional loans him out to perreira or someone just so he can get time, but not for another season or two, and its not going to happen anyways.

And Pino started becoming a team player, because DIM didnt accept that kind of playing style from him and didnt play him that much because of it. They sold him to Monaco who were letting the kid rot away, until Ricardo came and took him under his wing. If not for him Pino would have been our biggest loss since Montano. Just remember it got to a point where Pino was on the bench in belgium.

So the best thing to do is protect Cardona as long as they can, and implement him slowly into the team. Because most likely Cardona will not end up under the tutelage of an angel like Ricardo.

Hell yeah... i want him to play at least til' 2011 in nacional, i'm sure that in the next semester he will get some good amount of playing time. He has a playing style that will benefit a lot the team where he is playing due to his stamina and attitude.

Next year it becomes sub 18 rule, then sub 19 the year after and reverts. They set it up specifically to benefit players for the wyc.

cardenas is a piece of crap. Never showed anything, he is a false idol in the hope of colombians of having a football superstar.

Well... Cardona was usually playing 45 minutes every game because suarez liked him a lot, showing some good things and helping a lot in the midfield. If we're lucky, the next coach of Nacional will appreciate his skills.

    exactly they dont make it

    they dont deserve to.....

Look at the NT player list the only ones who playd are abroad other than Ramos who was just on the team and playd against argentina to get him sold to europe

Our league is crap and the way we develop players is even worse. Our youth teams are good just because they are bigger than the rest, like the african squads.

Crzd, you remind me the Israeli people who always bitching and crying and don't know how to say a good word. But if the football in Israel is really suck and deserve all that, the Colombian football are good, we have wonderful players in the NT, we just have difficult time in this current qualifiers. Don't forget that we need to qualify from the hardest zone in the world, and there isn't 6 garanteed points vs. Venezuela like it always was. Even mighty Argentina isn't sure in the World Cup when only 4 games remaining....It doesn't justify to score 7 goales in 14 matches but I think that coaches, with their defensive formation are more to blame then the players. Anyway, please stop attacking our football in all your comments!! support them until the end, that's the meanning of being a fan. IF we fail to qualify, we'll discuss on it later but as long as we have a chance, continue to believe.

Would be awesome for him to go to the Barca youth team :) where they actually promote their stars. I dont know about CHelseas and I doubt Inter would. Real Madrid also has a good youth set up but he will never end up playing for them and will just get loaned out to smaller clubs

cause euros are stupid and an agent tells them that a player is the next " " and thats all they need to know. They heard this kid was the next Pibe like 5 years ago and never bothered to see that he doesnt get playing time on his current team at 21
