he just needs to start scoring goals.

there's always a very fraustrating style of play about him the way he moves without the ball. He's been good at monaco, because the coach's stuborn trust in the guy this season.

we all know he can pass, but it'd be nice to see him be agressive. shoot shoot shoot. enough of those centering balls from the edge of the box.

Or this could all be solved if we can find a damn striker for KNT. Then PCY can be the shadow striker and provide passes in the box which is what he does best anyways.

I thought Lee Geun Ho was good enough prior to the North Korea game. I hope it all comes back to him by June.

True, but he had some huge blunders in the NK game. If this was the October 2008 version of LGH, we would have beaten the Norks 3-1 or 4-1.

Regardless of LGH's terrible performance, I really don't see too many viable options for a striker. So methinks LGH will still be picked by the selectors. So its up LGH has to shake his rust off.

Despite at the time, everybody praised him for rejecting Blackburn's trial, its funny how in retrospect that actually would have been the best or one of the better options.(in the short to medium term at least)

Korea can get away with not having a true ST if they stick to 4-4-2 formation.

Yeah, I guess all it takes is one game for people to assess a player who has been overachieving.

And let's all forget about how Lee Geun-ho made some sharp runs behind the defense to actually set himself up for those scoring opportunities. We all know a stiff with no football brain like JJJ is better off starting up front, since he'll never even get himself in place to take a shot on goal. In that way, we can blame the midfielders.

Yeah agree about LGH's form as of late. That match against North Korea we should have put away with at least 2 goals if it wasn't for his blunder.

I didn't saw the game but the french famous (shitty) newspapers l'Equipe gave him a 5 with a mention "the ghostly striker". For his defense, he played on the right side in the first half and seems to have been really invisible, before to do a bit better in the second as forward. But well, we only ask to a forward to score goals :p:D.

I don't agree. With Fulham, after being linked with Lee Chun-Soo, Cho Jae-Jin, and Park Ju-Young (prior to his move to Monaco), it's pretty well established that part of the reason for their interest, if not the predominant reason, is the contractual stipulation with LG, although it hasn't been mentioned outright. If he does move, or if any other Korean player moves, they will likely always have the unwanted stigma of being the club's 'obligation' rather than being there for solely for merit. Having said that, Park Ju-Young isn't even finished with his first year at Monaco and still has plenty to build upon, being that his contract doesn't expire 2012. If he keeps up his rate of improvement, given the interim break during the summer and well deserved rest after playing back-to-back seasons, he will certainly be a pivotal figure in an improving Monaco side in the coming seasons. He's already garnered the minutes to suggest this and the fans seem to have taken to him. To make such a quick turnaround into the PL would only serve to disrupt his effort and progress.
