For the 2010 World Cup Univision will have some games In HD but on demand, don't worry they'll be free.

If you have ABC/ESPN/ESPN2 you can watch the 2010 WC in HD. This years Confederations Cup will be in HD too. I think Univision and Telemundo must be in digital by June. But in Chicago they already are.

Every high power broadcast channel is already transmitting in digital as well as analog.

The analog broadcast transmissions for high power broadcast channels must be turned off by 11:59:59pm on June 12.

The Univision affiliate in Portland, KPOU-TV 16, is a high power analog channel which will be turned off on June 12.

You will have to watch Univision on the digital channel KPOU-DT 16-1 starting June 13 if you don't already have a digital tuner. TeleFutura should be available on the digital channel KPOU-DT2 16-2.

Low power and "Class A" analog channels can stay on the air past June 12.

Where do you see that KPOU TV is going digital in June? All I see is stuff about the low powered tv station KUNP LP. Are both of these channels based in Portland? and are you certain KPOU TV is the High powered Univision Channel in Portland, OR?

    Thanks

Digital does not equal High Definition
