I remember them as a very strong Galaxy supporters, always energetic, one of the originals. But now, I only see about 5-10 of them at a game. Does anyone have any details about them? Please, no bashing.

I think they had some problems with some personalities at the top of the group.

But alas, my memory may not serve me correct.... I just remember reading a while back that it was a top-down issue.

On the bright side, the ACB looks vibrant.

ACB looks very promissing indeed. I can only see them growing, I'm very much considering giving up my sideline seat to join them.

I wonder if the beginning of the Chivas has something to do with the fall of the Galaxians. Maybe most of them switched to Chivas, I do remember a large percentage of the Galaxians were hispanic.

I remember last season on cold games I just want to go over to the Galaxians and jump up and down with them, but I quess they lost that energy this year.

They're taking care of business this year. I think them being near ACB might make recruitment slightly more difficult, but I assure you they're still very passionate about the club.

ACB more than doubled they're season ticket holders over the offseason and are seeing huge game day add-ons every game. Barring an absolutely pitiful year by the team, I can see them filling up section 121 by next year. That said, I think a lot of recruits who would have joined Galaxians are looking at ACB instead. Maybe just because they're bigger? Who knows. At any rate, ALL of the Galaxy SG's have performed magnificently so far this year.

I've been standing with RS the last few years but didn't renew my season tix this year and decided to go with ACB this year for the games I attend. RS tix are more expensive and I'm tired of the ushers moving me to my "real seat" in row X away from everyone when we consider that section General Admission. I'm going to miss all the jokesters in the group but right now $ is the biggest issue.

BTW I hear every season ticket holder in a supporters group got an extra ticket for this Saturday's match free so expect the groups to be packed this weekend. I'm bringing 8 people myself.

I dont fly in from England to attend Galaxy games cos the ACB is a drongo squad, these guys are top geezers, all are made welcome and they are the friendliest bunch of guys you could meet, hey if they will accept glory seeking limey's they will accept anyone. This group is going places and if only the G's could turn things around we will show Toronto and Seattle what fan support is about.:D

I love how the ACB and RS cheer back and forth to each other. Makes the on-field tragedies less tragic.

I'm not positive, but I think the Galaxians suffered from the side effects of their avant-garde drumming style (think Wesley Willis meets The Boredoms).

It created havoc with many members and innocent passers-by tympanic membranes -- causing something of a vestibular balance crisis, also known as mass hysteria.

Luckily no one was permanently injured.

Now I understand why the Galaxians chant "Alanis Morissette rocks Saddam Hussein's ass"!

    Whose the UFO's?

Galaxy site used to say they were the first OG SG.

Never seen them since I've been going.

It would be dope if we had a SG in the top deck.

I heard all 11 members of the original Galaxians were killed in a tragic Galax-cident.

The Galaxians are a good group of people and do their thing, as is the LARS doing their thing to support the team. We started the ACB as an alternative supporter group to also support our team in our way; all are welcome to join us in Section 121.

I'm not a MOD, but I'm fairly sure this should be the the SUPPORTERS GROUPS forum.

Well to answer your question. They are still there in GA 123 I believe. All 6 of them.

First of all, even though I am not a part of the Galaxians, they deserve more respect than to slander them by saying they defected to Chivas.

They are loyal to the Galaxy. I suggest an apology...

The problem is ACB and LARS have a very vibrant style of support while the Galaxians' idea of support is wearing green wigs and jumping. Doesn't cut it...

It's sad to see the oldest supporter's group be so marginalized, but Darwin tells us either to adapt or die...I think we can see which way the Galaxians are going.

I was told by someone in the Galaxians that the Little Drummer Boy was not actually a member of the Galaxians but that the FO made him sit with them. Never has one individual ruined so much fun for so many all for the jollies of so few. I don't think they liked him much, but they somehow tolerated him. Perhaps the FO flattered them into accepting him? Sounds like something they'd do...

His drumming talent aside, that is one of the nicest guys you'll ever meet.
