Too many pics to post a response and did not want to do it 3 at a time. Answer here...though I guessed at a ton. Give me an 1860 roster and I might do better.

Here are Sören Lerby's three goals against Werder Bremen from the 1984-85 season. Especially his first goal is quite Rainer-Bonhof-esque.

Thank you for posting those great pictures!

I was surprised you didn't include the third Wolfgang of that team.

Watch Germany score the 1-0 in this 1975 repeat of the 1974 World Cup final (staged to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the founding of the D.F.B.).

Excellent pass by Beckenbauer (typically played with the outside of his right foot) straight into the run of Wolfgang Seel who accelerated magnificently to bring in a cross which Herbert 'Hacki' Wimmer headed into the Dutch goal. In the second half Holland equalized with a superb Wim van Hanegem freekick.

Hmm, who looked like Uli Stielike & Horst Köppel at that time? Must be the former Hertha star Erich Beer...

That would be my guess. Though add in a mustache and longer hair and at that distance he could be Manfred Ritschel.:D

In five parts, one of the most ridiculous games in World Cup qualifying history: England vs. Poland, Wembley 1973. The home side needed to win that game at all costs. The commentary is Austrian.

    Great Thread.

    Repped!

I wanted to request for a video which I have tried hard to locate but couldn't.

Its a WC match (82 I think) in Germany is defending a free kick against an African team (Algeria??). The Algerian free kick bounces against the German wall, and Karl Heinz Ruminigge takes the ball from his own half and dribbles the length of the field to score.

I might have got the team and the WC wrong, but I do vaguely remember this goal. In fact a clipping of this goal was used in a cutlery advertisement during the late 80s. At least in Siegen.

They just don't make players like KH Ruminigge anymore. :(

    Thank you!

I think that was against Mexico (1978 World Cup). I'll upload it soon.
