The Iraqi Players Abroad Discussion thread In this thread, we can discuss about our abroad Iraqi players' careers. There are a lot to talk about. Hawar in the Champions League, Younis and his next destination, Mostafa Karim's success in the Egyptian league... etc and more. This is the list of the Iraqi football players abroad on Wikipedia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Iraqi_players_abroad
Hawar is his forname Mulla Mohammed is the name of his father Taher is the name of his grand-father Zebari is the name of his clan. In Iraq your name goes after your forname and the name of your father then grandfather (hence Hawar M. Mohammed Taher). But western standards his name is Hawar Zebari.
i know that ... im iraqi 2 man but i mean if you search "hawar zeebari" in google you will find nothing
Whooooot really? joke/ i think we should stick to Hawar Mulla Mohammed, I didn't know about that he's a Zebari either until now.....
The Iraqi naming system is different than the one used in Europe, so that's where the confusion occurs.
It isn't when it comes to the quality of the game, but then again neither Dohuk nor any other club in Iraq can pay as much as a club in the UAE (even if they're playing in the second division). He's not young anymore, it's ok for him to finish his carrer while making some good money over there.
Werder Bremen 0 : Anorthosis 0 Hawar was subbed in the 46th minute to become the first Iraqi footballer to play in the Champions League. He made some nice moves too including a powerful shot on goal. Overall, it's a great result for Anorthosis, and a good start for Hawar.
Man It was the ONLY game that they didnt air on TV, dude any video clip of the shoot? and what Number does he have?
