Do adidas shirts still "fit" bigger than Nike shirts. Would an Adidas small feel a bit larger than a Nike small?

Does anyone have the Long Sleeved Manchester United kit from this year? As in the away? It seems there sizing varies from year to year. So does anyone know how long the sleeves will run on a long sleeved jersey? Its just that I'm going to order it online and it dosnt say the length of the arms. Normally I would go with a large but I like the feel of mediums, I just don't want it to be to short at the arms.
    Thanks.

i think Nike shirts are bigger and Adidas just fits well. I usually have Adidas jerseys because it is more affordabel.. :)

I own two Lotto shirts, both run true to size. If I had any other comment about Lotto, I guess I'd say the cut is better than Nike and Adidas--I'm pretty skinny, and sometimes Adidas and Nike jerseys feel a little voluminous on me, even in my correct size.

just going to bump this so i don't have to make a new thread...

    opinions on kappa?
    diadorra?

only jerseys i have thus far are nike , puma, adidas... i've really wanted to get a kappa shirt, and a couple diadorra ones have appealed to me.

i am a whore with rep, so you will be justly rewarded... enticing, i know.

Well, I've got one each of Kappa and Diadora (both from last season), so I guess that qualifies me to answer again. Both are high quality, but as most of us know, Kappa runs at least a size small. I know that some people have knocked Diadora in other jersey threads, but I like mine a lot. The material feels great and the fit is spot on for me.

i'd rep you again, but rules are against it...

but, you'd compare a kappa medium to an adidas small i take it? i knew it ran small, but was unsure of how much.

i usually stick with a medium... was going to buy a kappa medium, but i'm thinking that i better wait til the large gets in stock

Here's your answer: Kappa jerseys runs 2 sizes small. I wear size medium in Adidas (I have 3 replicas plus many plain jerseys and they're all medium for a perfect fit) and I have 5 Kappa jerseys and they are all size XL for a perfect fit (I own 3 Roma jerseys: white and black short sleeve from last season and a black long sleeve from this season, plus 2 long sleeve jerseys they call combat clone and those are actually kind of tight in my armpits but otherwise perfect).

the nike shirts still fit a big snuggly but i noticed this seasons adidas shirts are getting a bit snugger too. my madrid shirt from last season fits more loosely than the home/away/3rd cl madrid shirt i bought a week ago. or maybe i'm just putting on some extra weight... :)

Dude, I'm glad I read this - I just almost bought a Kappa jersey, and I had to cancel the order because the team store doesn't accept credit cards and my bank would have charged $35 for an international money order. I'm glad I didn't get the shirt, and if I decide at a later date, such as when I have a job and/or the fan store accepts credit cards, to get the shirt, I'll order two sizes larger...or hope to lose 30 lbs ;)

I have very nice parents, a large savings account, and actually, the jersey I'm wearing only cost $30, even with name and number ;) And I don't charge more than $300 a month.

And even though I'm a girl, any Kappa shirt I'd end up getting would be gargantuan. (I wear Adidas XL because of my chest, actually.) Thanks, Bank of America!

My most recent Adidas shirt is the France WC06, and I thought that it fit pretty snug in a small versus my Nike shirts of that vintage in small.

I purchased a diadora Roma shirt (03/04, maybe?) in a small for my brother and that was from the skin tight era. It was a little short on the torso and the sleeves were a little long. It was OK to play in but definitely not a very good shirt for wearing w/ jeans.

All right, now that I've posted about it in the actual team section, I can post that I want a Werder Bremen shirt, and they finally accept credit cards, and the base price for a shirt and scarf is now 25 euro because they're switching from Kappa to Nike in July. I'm debating getting the shirt I want now, because it's so effing cheap, and the Nike shirts could actually be worse. I'd probably order XXXL, which is available.

Do I dare buy this shirt? I'm going to try to get my butt a job next week.

    hi all, i'm new here.
at first, sorry to bump this old thread, but i can't start my own (since i'm a newbie), and i need an advice.

i will get an brazil shirt from abroad for a present, but i don't know which size to choose. since there are no brazil kits in any store in my town, i can't try one. however, there are some other nike shirts, so i was wondering, if i try, e.g. barca's XL shirt, and it fits, will brazil XL fit the same? to reformulate, are all nike XL shirts exactly the same size?

Lotto fits tigher than Nike or Adidas, Usualy I've size M for Adidas and nike and I take L for Lotto.

For Kappa, I've got the 3rd shirt long sleeves of this year and for me it's bigger than usual.

All the nike shirts are same size, the only difference is when you buy a player issue.

just another question: i'm 6'4'', 220lbs; which brazil nike shirt size you think would suit me better, XL or XXL (i have an XL france WC 1998 shirt by adidas, and its width is perfect; the length is good, but it would be perfect if it were just a little bit longer)?

It depends how you're build... I got a friend which have the same measures but with muscle and he has to put XXL for Kappa... But if you already have an XL take XL again, except if you want to buy the player issue shirt... If so send a mail to the seller to ask him if it's tigher than replica.

NIKE shirts run slightly bigger than Adidas size for size I have found.
