    Nice youtube compilation:)

In a few years I see no reason why Nani wouldnt be able to reach the level Ronaldo is at now. His finishing is very very good for a 20 year old.
(Im not talking about long range efforts, which he is very good at as well, just basic finishing like we saw in the goal today, the goal against Arsenal, or a few from the pre season)

That was a really good Youtube comp. Definitely thinking it's the next name if I get another kit in a year or so.

He's coming along nicely. He's already beginning to get a reputation for scoring or creating important goals.

His CK to Ronnie for our 2nd goal was vital, much like other CK's he's taken this season and of course he's had a spectacular goal or two.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, the kid is lethal in the final 3rd. He may be equally clumsy and selfish in the final 3rd, but you cannot teach what he has. Imagine him being inconsistent and mostly a sub but still being this productive on the offensive end while offering great work ethic on the defensive end too?

He's not on pace to match any other winger we have now or have had. He's a completely different animal. Luis Nani has the chance to be the next Nani.

Just rewatched his goal, and I am really impressed at how he made the space for himself. It was a brilliant move to put the ball in between, then past, the 2 defenders. And Sky had a brilliant slow motion replay of his celebration against the backdrop of the bouncing United supporters - almost brought tears to my eyes

Nani modeling the new PT Euro kit. He appears rather impressed with himself.

Is Nani a regular for the National team?

I'd think Queresma and Simao would be ahead of him.

Thank God we nipped him away from Spurs. I remember reading the story about how close it was - Gill was apparently doing the Anderson negotiations in Portugal when he heard Nani was not completely tied down, and instantly went to sign him.

I would give it to Nani, but it is a 3 horse race for the opposite wing to Ronaldo. Quaresma is having a great year and Simao is always consistant. Nani for me though is the biggest threat he plays the same for Portugal as he does for United where Ronaldo and Quaresma have their big games and then their quiet games.

They have tried Nani/Q wings with Ronaldo striker that Cristiano didn't care for but I think it would work if Ronaldo had a supporting striker role that Fergie sometimes gives him.

Been a regular for sometime now. And like Gooddead said, it really is a 3 horse race.

Scolari seemed to favor Simao because of his consistency. But lately, Quaresma has been playing well for the Seleccao, we will see if that form can continue.

But, if Simao does get the nod over Quaresma and Nani in a starting position come Euro, you can bet that Nani will be the first off the bench and not Q.

Simao's ability to consistently make the right decisions is levels above Nani's for the time being. Nani's only real edge on Simao at the moment appears to be his pace, and it's not a huge edge.

The expectations around Simao have always been very high but he never quite lived up to the "next Figo" billing. Nani looks to be of a different potential (possibly greater) but for the moment is a raw talent and is a long way from being the complete player that Simao is.
