    Re: Macnelly Torres

    Junior sold him for 200 k ... Sad but true....

    I really don't believe Colo-Colo has the money. I'm 99.9% sure. You guys will see this will go no where. Colo-Colo administrators recently said that 1.2 Mil was out of their reach so how the hell can they afford 2 Mil or what ever the amount is. Nacional who IMO a more healthy club in terms finances backed off from Mcnelly because he was out of reach.

    PS: Metro: Honestly, I'm not hating because is a Chilean team. He'll probably have better campaign in Colo-Colo because he will have a better supporting cast around him. I just don't see Colo-COlo coming up with the money*

    Re: Macnelly Torres

    dude the old river player and psg reject is a burn out

    Macnelly is the 10 a revived Colombia, WHO IS ONLY 23 !!!!!

    Macnelly for 2 million is worth it, Colo Colo knows this, if he has a good cup then they can easily sell him , especially if he does well for colombia in the 1st 2 games of qualifers this year

    Metro how much did Junior pay for Gio.... if it was 2 million im going to flip

    Also great question is if Cucuta sells him..... will they buy any one??? or pocket the money

    Not only do they have it, but it seems they are willing to spend it. They offered Boca 2 millions for Datolo and Boca agreed... the only problem was that Datolo prefered to stay with Boca.

    Money is not a problem right now, apparently. I guess enough people have bitched about the crappy reinforcements in the last couple of years.

    this is sad guys how bad colombian teams are at this moment if a chilean team has this much fire power

    and Santa fe bought a NT worthy team for like 1.5 million :(

    ademas, estan en medio de una de las economias mas estables y buenas del continente....no es raro que tengan plata (lo que me estraña es que hace unas temporadas estaban al borde de quiebra! -ojala me explique el colombiano en chile o metroch-)

    Bueno, economista no soy, socio.
    En ese sentido, razones especificas no seria capaz de darte.
    Pero cosas que diferencian a Chile del resto de Latinoamerica:
    -tenemos una clase media fuerte y muy solida (no hay por ejemplo tanta disparidad social como en Brasil, por darte un ejemplo);
    -siempre ha habido un gran respeto por la instucionalidad (en Chile, al contrario de otros paises en este continente, la corrupcion es la excepcion y no la regla);
    -tambien Pin8 insto a un grupo de economistas con educacion estadounidense para mejorar la estructura financiera del pais durante su gobierno (mas conocidos como los "Chicago Boys"). Hasta el dia de hoy se han implentado las bases de sus ideas (con buenos resultados). :)

    Sin quitarle sus meritos a a la economia Chilena, tampoco es para que tapemos el sol con un dedo.:cool:

    Income distribution
    Despite its impressive overall economic results when measured exclusively by GNP indicators, the Chilean economy has been subject to an important distortion: Its income distribution is extremely poor. In South America, Chile ranks fifth (behind Brazil, Paraguay, Colombia and Bolivia) The percent of total income earned by the richest 20% of the Chilean population is 61.0% of GDP, while the percent of total income earned by the poorest 20% of the Chilean population is only 3.3% of GDP. [3]
    Chile's Gini Coefficient in 2003 (53,8%) has slightly improved in comparison with the value in 1995 (56,4%). In 2005 the 10% poorest among the Chileans received 1,2% of GNP (2000 = 1,4%), while the 10% richest received 47% of GNP (2000 = 46%) [1].

    En gran parte la economia Chilena depende del estado del mercado de los minerales basicos como el cobre. Es un pais muy rico en este sentido (particularmente en las zonas del norte que le quitaron a Bolivia como Antofagasta) y como toda la industria de la mineria esta gozando un periodo tremendo, tambien la economia Chilena se ha beneficiado de esto.

    i dont know if u guys know this but outside of tolima they found one of the biggest mines of pure gold in the world that should last colombia for a very very long time..... but our country is super corrupt and um they will prob end up stealing all of this

    not only that last year like every week they keep finding rich peoples homes that had cash in the wall, and gold.... but where this money went no one knows.....

    maybe chileans are just less corrupt

    Re: Macnelly Torres

    We've always been mineral rich in Colombia as well. The Chilean economy is very structurally sound (they had the "luxury" of a military dictatorship and were able to impose a pretty much "by the book" capitalist system with neary everything privatised) and there is a remarkable work ethic there. Colombia has how many holidays a year, we're infamous....

    Nadie ha tratado de tapar el sol con un dedo, mi estimado.
    Yo claramente dije: "en comparacion con el resto de Latinoamerica".
    El ejemplo de Chile comparado con el resto es como decir "the skinny kid at fat camp" y aun seguimos mejor.. ;)

    bueno, parece que macnelly no se va a ir a colo colo ya que el Cucuta quiere el 15% de su pase y dejarlo partir recien a mitad de año

    Borghi se obsesiono con Macnelly y no da por perdida la negociacion
