This game is the most exciting MLS game Ive seen this year so far! I hope alot of these fans come back out to see this team again! So far this game has had EVERYTHING!
I just posted the same thing in another thread, but it bears repeating. If New York doesn't fall in love with this team after a game like, this, they never will.

I am a huge Crew fan and they were playing on HDnet and so I was trying to watch both games and after about 10 mins of that I was like the Galaxy and RedBulls game is alot more exciting so I just watched the rest of that game.
AGREED! Angel and Beckham played great plus Altidore, Mathis, and Donovan all score to make the game fun to watch for US soccer fans.
Wow, I couldnt help but feel for Beckham seeing the guy limping throughout the entire game, you could just hear the English National fans screaming at the tvs for Beckham to go to the bench to preserve that ankle! I hope ESPN eats up this game show all the highlights!
Oh and Jozy Altidore sure gives the USA National team a SHINING YOUNG STAR in the works! This kid is amazing to watch

I really doubt most England fans find it that important to have Beckham in their starting line-up. They have plenty of midfielders now. And yeah, that was an insane match. I'm not sure whether to call it a great game or not, clearly a game between two teams playing very well would not end up with 9 goals. It was entertaining in a freakshow kind of way.
Hopefully this game will piss in ESPN's jealousy bucket enough to entice them to pick up more games next year.

Altidore to leave for Europe either this winter of next year.....i bet he goes for 10 million. The kid is a beast. When u are 6'2 and can do stepovers like he did that is amazing.
