surprised to see lazio get covered twice. disappointed napoli isn't there at all in the first two weeks. i hope FSC does more than they did last year with serie a which was to just show a few matches and not have much around other content geared toward serie a.

any idea if they're still going to troll out max bretos, christian miles and that stiff from the "2 G's." god what a turd.

i think they will have a half-hour round-up and preview show as well, so we will see, but yeah, i don't know about the announcers, if they will have the same ones last season or not. last year, i don't even know if max bretos even knew who have the people were when he broadcast the games.

FSC will have the weekly 30 minute Serie A highlights show on Monday's at 8:00pm EST. That's about all they have this year geared toward Serie A.

Unfortunately, the word is FSC will have their own announcers doing the games again :( It's a shame they don't treat Serie A with the same respect they do the Premiership.

I think they'll just be showing whatever games RAI International will be showing but in English.

So I'll just stick to watching in Italian like always, but if the highlight show is anything close to the EPL Review show it should be good. Because RAI seems to have weeded out 90 Minuto and the only highlights shown are on Domenica Sportiva.

The Serie A highlights show is nowhere near as good as the EPL review show. For one, it's only 30 minutes long and the production isn't as good. But it's better than nothing.

I also noticed that 'Milan Weekly' is no longer on FSC's schedule. So that sucks.

I hope that doesn't mean they got rid of the connection with Milan Channel altogether and stop showing Milan in Europe on Thursdays...

I've downloaded it off the net many times. It's the internationally distributed Serie A highlights show. This is what I assume FSC will show. They've never produced their own highlights package. They usually just take the highlights package produced from the league. That's what they do for the EPL and what they did for France and Germany when they had the rights.

yeah, ok, that makes sense, as i didn't know if they would do that like they did the english show.

oh well, as you said, it's better than nothing.

FSC outbid GolTV for the rights. So GolTV won't have any Serie A matches for at least the next 3 years.

The digital guide for Rai International is almost always wrong.

    Try the schedule at www.international.rai.it

FSC is showing a half hour Serie A preview show tonight at 8pm and 11pm EST. They also appear to have a one hour show called "Calcio Show" on Friday nights at 1am EST. We'll have to see how these shows pan out.

how do you have an "in-depth" preview of torino and not mention di michele's issues and rosina?

also, the other clubs, like napoli, no mention of calaio?

what a bunch of crap, how do you have all 20 teams in half an hour, with commercials that is like 1 minute per club.

    edit: quagliarella=quadliarella
    gasbarroni=garbarroni
, is that indicative of the the time they will give to the serie a programming. just throw the crap together and not proof-read it?

also, this is less a mess-up but a question from me, will giovinco, after his solid preseason, start for empoli? i was hoping he and marchisio would both be in the first xi from the get-go. they didn't have him listed, so i was curious

look forward to reading and seeing the give and take from this board. honestly, 3/4 of the posters on the italy board know more than what they gave us, how do i watch a half-hour show and not cone remotely close to learning anything new, and see mistakes and/or omissions here and there. i actually was made dumber about serie a after watching that.

the bar has been set low, i am sure you will surpass it easily :D
