It's hard to further embarrass Kean University. Like how he's conveniently building up pension credits on our dime. Just when one thought he couldn't sink any lower.
Jeez - don't get me started. took 3 hours on the bus on Monday and the driver didn't know how to navigate around Hoboken because it was flooded (why learn alternate routes?). they're going to raise fares 9% for the same sh!tty service. back to driving it is.
Unless you're trying to get to NYC the bus service in NJ is a mess.. On the plus side, I've found a couple of brewpubs that are located next to train stations. Thanks to the Secaucus transfer station I can get to these brewpubs without driving or walking very far. JJ Bittings Gaslight Brewery Basil T's
Apparently the Ocean County College branch of Kean won't embarrass itself! http://www.app.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20070420/NEWS/704200406 -McGreevey, a lawyer, taught "Ethical and Legal Issues of Operating Globally" in January and February. He is currently teaching "Management and Leadership." ... When asked for a syllabus for McGreevey's class, "Ethical and Legal Issues in Operating Globally," Higgins said, "there is no syllabus."- I spoke with a retired trooper yesterday. Story which circulated within the NJSP at the time (which should know, as it provides executive protection for the gov) was that he was with a boyfriend, and they had to locate & transport his wife to Cape May, which may have delayed medical attention! Wonder if this will be discussed in her book. So far, she has denied knowledge of his proclivities.

How does that happen? In all the court fees people get hit with, none of them go to witness protection?
Nope. http://www.judiciary.state.nj.us/sentguide.pdf scroll to page 159 & read on! VCCN, SNSF, LEOTEF, DAEF, SSANE, PVAWS, SCVTF. Also, DEDR. Lab, Court costs, Surcharges, IDRC, Probation Supervision Fee, Periodic Payment Fee, etc. But that doesn't mean that NJ won't try to add a WP fee - after all, NJ loves fees while decrying new taxes (though it raises them!).

Why doesn't this kind of thing happen when my wife is making me watch a Andy Griffith Show marathon on TV Land?
I saw this. Luckily the Episcopal priesthood has some standards regarding ethics. He might have a difficult time passing muster if he's ordained.
New Jersey is set to consider becoming the first state to abolish the death penalty legislatively since capital punishment was reinstated 31 years ago. A Senate committee is slated Thursday to consider replacing the death penalty with life imprisonment without parole. The initiative stems from a January report from a special commission appointed by the Legislature. The panel determined New Jersey's death penalty costs taxpayers more than paying for prisoners to serve life terms and concluded there was no evidence the death penalty deters people from committing murders. "There is increasing evidence that the death penalty is inconsistent with evolving standards of decency," the report said. Gov. Jon S. Corzine favors abolishing the death penalty, as do Democratic leaders of both houses of the Legislature. http://www.phillyburbs.com/pb-dyn/news/104-05062007-1342169.html Bad move. This option should always be used ever so sparingly but remain on the table
No. So it's abolition is almost a moot point. The line that kills me is "There is increasing evidence that the death penalty is inconsistent with evolving standards of decency". It seems like some PC nonsense is winning the day over equitable justice. I find that sad.
Well, technically, one fat phuk on death row had a heart attack & died, while a second was stomped to death by another death row inmate, who was later acquitted for it!
