Thanks for the information and video. First of all, that kid is/was TINY. I can't help but laugh watching a kid that small do those moves. Second, even at 12, he's super young. I generally don't like to talk about kids that young, partly because I don't think it's right to put so much pressure on kids so young, and partly because anything can happen between now and the time he actually starts to fulfill his potential. That said, the kid does look like he has a lot of potential, and judging from the video, some hype to go along with it. I'm glad to hear he's with Barça, if only on a trial. Hopefully it turns into something more permanent. Wasn't Messi also 12 when he joined Barça? I can't remember if he was 11 or 12, but he was definitely a midget like this kid. Here's hoping he progresses just as well.
im a barcelona fan and i hope they buy the rights to the kid and send him back to his club, 12 is a lil young to switch countries for football. messi already spoke spanish and i think that makes things alot less traumatic....also he was only that small when he was young due to a hormonal problem that was treated when he arrived at barca....

(agreed on that.) aspecialy in his native country, Tv,news press etc dont let him alone . each game after, many tvs,and newspress people surround(spell?) him. That make huge pressure.they make many interview,and they keep asking where do you wanna be, what do you wanna be etc. This kind of pressure,Iam sure makes him and his family very nervous. Update; He is at the moment 12 years old. He must be at least 13 year old,to sign officially international sign. Thats the rules of international agreement of sign. ''it says Barcelona's mr.Albert Benangez''. Thats why,soon, we will make special agrement to make special sign with Besiktas football club and Muhammed Demirci's menager. I was watching T.V. last night, and while flipping through channels I saw a sports program with this kid. I can't remember which channel, I think it was TV8 for those that live in Turkey. Anyway, there was a round table discussion of like 7 old Turkish dudes and a kid. The bye-line said "12 year old gets signed by Baca," or something similar. They then showed video clips of the kid. Amazing. Simply amazing.

Besiktas are reportedly now asking some 5 million Euros for the kid, while Barça is willing to pay 3. I think it is too much, a kid has to develop a lot from that age, things can change, and I seriously doubt they would ever get that investment back, it is too much.
I would rather use those 3 mill to get a more established prospect, someone around 18-19. You're right, a lot can change in those years.

Not so, since you can of course sign an agreement with a player at that age. It is not a pro contract, but it is a deal whereby the family agrees to be bound to the club that is developing the player. Normally the family is paid something, or receives important favours (jobs, residence, special medical attention). People find this odd, but if you think about child actors who have contracts with their agents, it is not so unusual. The only difference is that with football you are speculating on a player's future while a child actor is already producing in the same way as an adult.
