About Real Betis- Sevilla derby (last night 10.2.2007...

I have been Real Betis “fan” just about 5years (some mental disorder in my darkest moment?) and once again we were gathered around having a football night with few friends eating and drinking beer. And because it ws my turn to host that night, so It was my turn to choose match...so I chose La Liga and Betis-Sevilla match...

I was supporting betis and wearing greenwhite Betis Shirt (souvenir from spain) while my friends were supporting Sevilla. That match was long way off football. Betis players were making theater, diving, crying, moaning and whining like a ladies. And that match was not even rough game. Betis Players were better actors...sorry...actress than Italians (nothing against Italians...but acting ans diving they know better than playing).

And that penalty (missed by ms.Robert) was referees huge mistake and good piece of actress skills of betis ladies. As retardation gives us evidence, there was no even contact.

Eventough I won 430€, becourse they played even, I was not satisfied for result.

However after that game I was so ashemed to wear that shirt, so I took it off. This morning I found that shirt and all green stripes were painted as red... (I Should add photo...later I will). Good practical joke:D My friend made confession. He was sorry and promised to order a new one, but I said that it’s not necessary, because I don’t wear ladies greenwhite shirt anymore.

I learned my lesson and next time when I'm hosting gamenight, We will watch real football, like bundesliga, premiership or dutch league. No more girlie football

Don't worry, the first step to recovery is admittance.

Great analysis about a bad team! And don't worry about Rob, he's just not ready to admit what you now know.:D

But don't run away from La Liga. When Sevilla is not playing the AntiFutbol, they are a sight to behold.

Yes, I'm sure you have been. I'm also pretty sure you've been a Chelsea fan since Roman bought the team. Just remember that the ladies in green and white beat your boys in blue less than 2 years ago in the Champions League.

Hosting game night? Do your guests bring their own gag balls or do you provide for them?

Just the same, I do hope you remember that win amounted to nothing. You received a quick exit to the UEFA Cup, followed by a quick move to no mid-week games. Of course for Ugly Green Chorizo fans, I could see how a win against a "big" club could be cherished as much as Sevilla winning a European trophy. :D

Of course I remember, in and out. I'm not too concerned though, in a couple of seasons time Betis will be in the top 4-6 again and the Earthquakes will be winning Cups back here in the good old US of A. :D

Two things, in the top 4 or 6 won't get you out of la segunda. :p
And, I'm hoping you get your Quakes back, but only the Wizards deserve to win Cups because I said so.

I see your favorite club. Nice. Glad to see another Sevilla fan and how you realize they will win their second straight.

    Otherwise, thanks for the input.

Interesting game night You have Carlos...if You need gagballs?

Sorry! altought half of my friends are female, we have little bit different meaning for game night obviously than You have in spain...I don’t even wanna know...

But it’s good for You...and I don’t judge You for that. Keep on playing with your gagballs:)

    Woohah!
I guess I succeed to annoy some Betis fan
    Sorry about that...;)

But honestly Betis players (spanish in general) are soft...or maybe that’s just because I'm from Finland and like other scandinavians in general we are touhg and we have higher tolerance for pain than other Europians (that is a fact), so we don’t need to groan with pain on the lawn. We’ll just grimace with pain and keep on playing without “miracle ice spray”.

But... Yes! You (spanish) are much better, much more skills etc. but weaker...yes I know...but that is not a sin.

And Yes! It was 2002 when I was on holiday in spain...And I wanted to buy a football shirt as souvenir...And Yes I bought Green Whites shirt, because That time it was one of my favourites (no reason). Tthat doesn’t make me Betis fan yet...I know...so I would say that I’ve been more like supporter of Betis (not anymore...I get bored). But anyway...

I used to support also Juventus and Team Italy, but bacause of their softness and perpetual whining and crying it just became so frustrating to watch their games, so I get bored.

    And about blues...
Sorry to say but I’ve been Chelsea fan since 1989- .When blues were playing in 1. division...After that they run up for Premiership.
Money has been ruing many other teams before, like Real Mardid, Juventus, Barca,
So I guess the Blues will be spoiled also someday...:(

    About Sevilla...
Sevilla has been little bit unknown team for me, But after seen some games, I can only say that they can play entertaining football... But what if Kanouté gets hurt?
Well anyway I wish Sevilla will win La Liga in this year. They have deserved to win championship I think.

And I hope that Sevilla will beat Steua tonight, least Sevilla is much more better than Steua, but I think Sevilla need to be satisfied with 1-1 draw... and I’ll get 400€ again :D ...thanks to Sevilla...
