New England Revolution
New England Revolution
The New England Revolution are one of Major League Soccer's original teams, starting play in 1996.

The team has reached the MLS Cup on four occasions, losing each time. The Revs saw defeat twice to LA Galaxy and twice at the hands of the Houston Dynamo, but ended their trophy drought by beating FC Dallas at Pizza Hut Park to win the 2007 U.S. Open Cup. Additionally, in 2008 the Revs became the first MLS team to win Superliga, a tournament comprised of top Mexican and MLS sides.

Revolution home matches are played at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, MA. They are owned by the Kraft Group.
