Huge EPL Games Featuring Chelsea, Liverpool, Arsenal and the Manchester Derby Taking Place in April

With 30 weeks of the EPL season down, April is going to be a massive month as the top clubs in England are vying to earn those coveted Champions League spots.  The current table leaders, Chelsea, were recently booted from the Champions League after they lost to Paris St. Germain on away goals.  Jose Mourinho’s side is still six points ahead of Manchester City, who are at 61 points.  Here are the top EPL games that will be played in April, with ticket prices provided by international ticket reseller Ticketbis.

The key game from week 31 in the EPL is Arsenal vs. Liverpool, that is taking place at the Emirates.  The two sides will kick off on April 4th with Arsenal looking to take three points and potentially take second place over from Manchester City.  The Gunners have earned 60 points so far and are just one point shy from taking the second place spot from City.  Liverpool is currently in fifth place, just one spot shy from Champions League qualification.  They are in great form having won five of their last six matches.  The Arsenal match will be hard-fought it seems as the team has won their last six games. Nearly a quarter of the tickets for this game have been purchased by Hong Kong (12.1%), US (7.9%) and France (4.7%) buyers.

On Sunday April 12th the Manchester Derby will take place.  Manchester City is currently in second while their cross-town rivals, Manchester United, are in fourth place.  The Red Devils have found their form recently and are just two points behind City in the table.  Wayne Rooney and company have recently pulled off big wins over Liverpool and Spurs.  Meanwhile, City has struggled in recent fixtures and was recently defeated by Barcelona in the Champions League.  They have dropped two games out of their last six, losing away to Burnley and Liverpool. One of every six tickets sold to this game on Ticketbis have been to US buyers. Even more tickets have been sold to American buyers for the next big game on the list, with 20.5% coming from across the Atlantic.

That game on April 18th represents another huge matchup at the top of the table when Manchester United faces off with Chelsea.  With so many big games in April, the top teams are surely going to drop points, which may make this game even more important.  Currently, eight points separate United and Chelsea but with the Red Devils hitting their stride late in the season, that gap might be reduced come April 18th.
