TNFtermath: Nothing Is Revealed

Oh, Jonathan Bornstein was back. I suppose I should have paid closer attention, I probably wouldn't have been quite so dismissive of their defense had I bothered to learn that. I don't know what Landon's excuse was, though.

I could joyfully watch Ante Razov have pieces of his brain eaten one by one, like Hannibal Lecter did in whichever "Silence of the Lambs" sequel that was, but nice goal. Better than the one last week that everyone got so excited about. See, goals in the run of play are almost always more impressive than set piece goals.

Chivas USA got a point on the "road", missing a bunch of players. The down side is, they've got Superliga and CONCACAF duty coming up, and Preki didn't do such a wonderful job managing what he had. The Galaxy avoided their third straight loss, missing a bunch of players. The down side is, they've only got five home games left all year, and Ruud didn't do such a wonderful job managing what he had. They'll either meet in the Western semifinal or both miss the playoffs.

I'd like to apologize to Red Bulls and Wizards fans - I had no idea they were playing a game yesterday, none whatsoever. I was just completely in my own little world. Is there a game tonight I should preview? I should check.

Nope. All clear. No, I'm not counting the USL. What, next I'll have to make a post on the Superliga or something?
