Officials in Rochester NY have announced a 3 PM media conference at which they will reportedly introduce NEW OWNER ROB CLARK.
Hopefully, the new owner, along with USL executive Tim Holt and Mayor Bob Duffy will also explain how they're going to start getting people to come to PAETEC Park, which presumably will remain where it is, in a pretty nasty part of town.
That's been the problem all along; that 10,000 fans per game they were averaging prior to building a nice soccer-specific stadium didn't suddenly abandon the team because they changed their minds about liking the team. They just decided they didn't want to park their car out front of a crack house.
But that's for another day. Right now we can all simply enjoy the fact that one of the ten or so nicest soccer stadiums in the US isn't going to be vacant this summer.
