Gazidis Turns Down Exec Job with Man City

I certainly apologize if this has been previously posted someplace , but I haven't seen it and found it interesting, to say the least:

ACCORDING TO THE DAILY MAIL MLS Deputy Commissioner Ivan Gazidis was offered the position of Executive Chairman with Manchester City, but declined because he didn't want to move his family.

Gazidis,43, a double Oxford football blue, had been lined up for weeks to become Manchester City executive chairman, according to U.S. sources.

Did I miss this somehow?
